Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications
Tim Buckman joined Comcast Spectacor in 2017 and as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications, leads the development and execution of the organization’s Corporate Communications strategy. In this role, he provides direct oversight of all external and internal communications initiatives, social media and brand management for Comcast Spectacor’s portfolio of professional sports and live entertainment assets.
Tim previously served NBC Sports Group as Vice President of Strategic Communications, overseeing strategies that drove the optimization of NBC Sports’ regional and national content. The role also entailed close collaboration with each of the business leads and communications teams supporting NBC Sports’ collection of assets that include NBC Sports Regional Networks, NBC Olympics, NBCSN, NBC Sports Digital and NBC Sports Radio.
Prior to joining Comcast NBCUniversal in 2013, Tim spent five years at Callaway Golf, most recently as VP, Global Communications, where he led the company’s corporate, brand, internal and investor relations communications. Tim worked at FOX Sports Media Group from 2000-2008, promoting live coverage of the NFL, MLB, NASCAR and college football’s Bowl Championship Series. Prior to joining FOX, he spent four years at Home Box Office, focusing on World Championship Boxing, Wimbledon Tennis and HBO Sports original programming.
Tim is a graduate of Loyola University Maryland and earned his Master’s in Communications and Media Studies from Fordham University.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Flyers Charities.
