John Master is Chief Legal and Strategy Officer for Comcast Spectacor. In this role, Master provides direct oversight of all legal affairs of Comcast Spectacor. Master’s responsibilities cover all aspects of the operation of all Comcast Spectacor properties, including support of all sales functions, as well as player-related matters and the organization’s litigation, employment and labor law, financing, and business acquisition and development. In addition, Master serves as a key adviser to Chairman & CEO Dan Hilferty.

Prior to joining Comcast Spectacor, Master served in several roles over 11 years at the Madison Square Garden Company, most recently as Senior Vice President & Associate General Counsel. At MSG, he negotiated and provided legal and business counsel on sponsorships, suite licenses, and various other business deals involving the Knicks and Rangers, as well as Madison Square Garden itself and MSG’s various other venues. Master graduated with honors from Georgetown University and Columbia Law School, and lives with his family in Haddonfield, NJ.
