Brian Adams joined Comcast Spectacor in May 2023 as Senior Vice President of Brand & Creative. In this role, Adams manages the overall brand strategy for the Spectacor Sports and Entertainment portfolio which includes creative content, digital marketing, and game presentation for Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Wings (NLL), and Spectacor Events & Entertainment.

Over the course of his career, Adams has forged his way to becoming an industry recognized storyteller and change agent. Leveraging his unique depth and breadth of experience, he possesses an intuitive ability to know the customer and the magic and how to connect the two.

With over 20 years of experience spanning retail, sports, entertainment and technology, Adams brings enthusiasm, originality and bold thinking to his work. He most recently brought brands to market in the AI and NFT spaces. Prior to that, he served the Philadelphia 76ers and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) as Vice President, Brand & Creative.

In his HBSE role, Adams drove all breakthrough integrated brand marketing campaigns for HBSE’s portfolio of more than 10 sports and entertainment properties, including the 76ers, New Jersey Devils, Prudential Center, Grammy Museum, Sixers Innovation Lab and more. Adams oversaw all brand, advertising, storytelling, graphic design, traditional marketing and partnership marketing efforts for the organization. He also led HBSE’s internal corporate branding and drove global brand growth.

Adams led the 76ers’ in-house cross-functional team to 7 Clio Awards including the 2020 Clio “Team of the Year” honor. He conceptualized and launched the internationally recognized 76ers “Phila Unite” brand campaign, one the Washington Post hailed as a “tour-de-force” in ethos-driven branding, which garnered Clio Awards and American Marketing Awards Gold. The team’s 2018 City Edition uniform and multiplatform campaign were a Silver Award winner at the 2019 American Marketing Awards, and a 2019 Clio Awards Shortlist honoree for Design. Moreover, the 76ers 2019 Classic Edition uniform and campaign won Gold at the 2020 American Marketing Awards for Integrated Brand Identity and took home a Silver Award for Photography. Adams also partnered closely with Netflix on the branding and cross-promotion of the film HUSTLE, set in Philadelphia and centered on the 76ers.

Prior to joining HBSE, Adams spent 11 years at QVC, most recently as Senior Art Director, Global Brand & Creative. Here, Adams conceptualized the creative development and marketing strategy for QVC’s global identity and spearheaded innovative platform partnerships with Apple and Roku. Adams also drove multifaceted brand campaigns and content with global influencers like Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Zendaya and Clinton Kelly. His work leading The Muppets Takeover QVC earned Cannes Lions Festival Shortlist honors.

A Philadelphia native, Adams earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Villanova University and post-graduate studies in Film & Television from UCLA. He currently resides in Exton, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children.
