Top gymnasts Shawn Johnson, Nastia Liukin, Chellsie Memmel, and the entire U.S. Men’s Olympic Team all going for gold in Beijing will reunite with Paul Hamm for the “2008 World Tour of Gymnastics Superstars” at the Wachovia Center on Thursday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. The one night celebration will also feature Olympic legend Shannon Miller and an exclusive performance from Jordan Pruitt, who was just named #1 on Radio Disney.
Johnson, Liukin, Memmel, and each member of the U.S. men’s team earned their spot in Beijing through competing at the Wachovia Center in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Gymnastics from June 19-22, 2008. Paul Hamm officially withdrew from Olympic competition on Monday, July 28, but is scheduled to reunite with his teammates for the October 23 event in Philadelphia.
A Gymnastics Extravaganza that launches this September following the Beijing Summer Games featuring members of both the men’s and women’s teams with special appearances by some legendary athletes including Shannon Miller. The event features a theatrical experience with gymnastic stars performing routines to today’s biggest hits and special musical guests Jordan Pruitt and KSM.
